With a wide range of skills and backgrounds, our team brings knowledge, creativity and professionalism to every session. We are committed to creating a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment where young people feel valued, heard and encouraged to reach their full potential. Through positive role modelling, engaging activities and consistent support, our youth workers build strong relationships that help inspire confidence, resilience and personal development
Bryony says: I have been connected to the Prince of Wales Youth Club since I was a young person myself. I am dedicated to inspire young people and make a positive difference to their lives like the Youth team did to mine. I feel extremely lucky to be involved in such an amazing Club and want to support, learn and grow in my years to come as the Senior Youth worker.
Ally says: I started volenteering at the POWYC in 2023, alongside being a full-time paediatric nurse. I loved youth work so much that I decided to go part-time as a nurse and started working at the POWYC twice a week which was the best decision I have ever made! I love baking and arts & crafts. I want to inspire the young people I work with and am dedicated to making a positive difference to their lives. I also run the social media and I am the safeguarding DSL.ย
TJ says: I started coming to the Prince of Wales myself as a young person, when I was 7. Since then I have gained knowledge, skills and experience and now work at the POWYC alongside being a Youth Worker at one of our local schools in Canterbury.ย
I have worked at POWYC for…
Louis says: I started working at the POWYC in October 2025 and have loved it right from the start. I have previously worked for several years helping young people through challenging times in their life and I am currently at the University of Kent studying Psychology. I love anything active and sports related and will get stuck in with every activity we do. I want to bring out the best in our young people and help them achieve the best possible versions of themselves.
I started off volenteering at the junior sessions at POWYC when I was…
