The Great Southern Walk is Kent’s exciting annual community event — a Full 15-mile walk and Fun 5-mile walk set in the breathtaking Kent Downs.
Our inaugural year in 2025 was a fantastic success. Join us in 2026 on Sunday 13th September!
The event brings together residents, businesses, and organisations to raise funds for two life-changing charities: The Prince of Wales Youth Club and Rising Sun.
“Youth Club is one of my favourite places as it makes me feel very included and like I am part of a community. Whenever I need to talk to anyone, I will always feel like I can talk to my youth workers. No matter who you are, you will always be made to feel at home. I love the amazing trips and opportunities they provide. I love Youth Club!”
“Youth club makes me smile all the time. I love how I can get out of the house and off my phone. We do lots of things at youth Club like ball dog, bench ball, dodge ball and circle games. I really love that every session we start with circle time to ask how our day has been. It makes me feel like I belong and that I matter. I never feel embarrassed and if I need to chat, I can speak to any member of staff.”
